Car battery connectors are important components of the vehicle. These should be maintained to ensure that the electric current flows smoothly from the car’s battery into the cables. It must also be replaced when necessary and with the help of
car repair loans it will be so easy. Changing the battery connectors can be easily accomplished using the steps below.
Step 1: Prepare the materials needed
Before replacing the battery connectors, make sure to prepare the materials that is needed. It is easier to accomplish the work when all the requirements are placed in a spot where you can easily reach. You would likely use the following:
Screwdriver
Wrench
New battery connectors
Step 2: Disconnect the battery connectors
Turn the car’s engine and open the hood.
Locate the battery’s location and disconnect the connectors. Disconnect the negative connector first. You can easily identify this through its colour. It is usually black or green and has a negative sign on it.
After the negative connector is removed, start disconnecting the positive one. It is most likely red in colour and has a positive sign on it. Remove these connectors using a ratchet or an 8mm socket. You don’t need to completely remove the nut that holds a connector to the terminal. The connectors can be removed just by loosening the nuts.
Step 3: Disconnect the connector from the cable
Detach the old connectors from the cables with a wrench and a screwdriver. There are either nuts and bolts or screws that lock the cables to the connectors. Use the wrench to loosen the nuts and bolts or the screwdriver to unscrew the screws.
Step 4: Replace the old connectors with new ones
Remove the old battery connectors and install the new ones. Flatten the ends of the cable to make sure that it slides into the new connectors. Tighten the nuts and bolts or the screws to lock the connectors into the cables.
Step 5: Install the new connectors into the battery terminals
Install the new connectors into the battery terminals. Connect the positive connector first followed by the negative. Close the car’s hood and try starting the vehicle.

Question by Dev: Is it possible to get very short term car insurance?
My grandfather passed away about a month ago and i inherited his car. I’ve driven it for a few weeks planning on switching my insurance from one car to another. I have decided I want to insure both cars because no I plan on selling and or trading in both of them. My question is:
1) will my grandfathers old car stay insured until the end of his insurance period? (silly question which I’m sure is a no.)
but mostly 2) is there any short term insurance that would last about one month at the most? I’m a college student with very little money, so I was hoping to find something affordable.
I live in Pennsylvania

There is a multiple car discount. You should not be driving the car without insurance in your name because the insurance company can refuse the coverage in an accident. Instead the balance of the policy gets refunded. For any insurance, when the car is sold or disposed, the balance of the policy is refunded. But, keeping two cars is only worthwhile if both are to be driven. You do better selling a car privately than trading it in. Many insurance companies have monthly payments of direct deduction, so you are basically only paying for the time you need it.
